Many thousands of years ago, some of the greatest men to have ever walked this earth, set out on a quest of epic proportions. They were the wisdom bringers, who established civilization and the religion of the sun across the world.
This video is based largely on my own research of ancient texts and oral histories, and my husband’s work in the field of esoteric knowledge. It includes historical and archaeological research found in Graham Hancock’s books Magicians of the Gods and Fingerprints of the Gods. Many oral histories about the wisdom bringers in Central and South America, along with photographs and descriptions of associated ancient artifacts and buildings, can be found in the book American Indians in the Pacific by Thor Heyerdahl.
I don’t know if anyone has ever considered this before, but I think I might have discovered another wisdom bringer, and that is the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu. Her name Amaterasu literally means “shining in heaven”,and the longer version of her name,Amaterasu Omikami, means “great divinity illuminating heaven”. She is the most important deity in Shintoism, the indigenous religion of Japan. The first emperor of Japan,Emperor Jimmu, is believed by Japanese people to have descended from Amaterasu. It is said that Jimmu figures as a direct descendant of the sun goddess, Amaterasu via the side of his father, Ugayafukiaezu. Amaterasu had a son called Ame no Oshihomimi no Mikoto and through him a grandson named Ninigi-no-Mikoto. She sent her grandson to the Japanese islands where he eventually married Konohana-Sakuya-hime. Among their three sons was Hikohohodemi no Mikoto, also called Yamasachi-hiko, who married Toyotama-hime. She was the daughter of Ryūjin, the Japanese sea god. They had a single son called Hikonagisa Takeugaya Fukiaezu no Mikoto. The boy was abandoned by his parents at birth and consequently raised by Tamayori-hime, his mother’s younger sister. They eventually married and had four sons. The last of these, Kamu-yamato Iware-biko no mikoto, became Emperor Jimmu. The Imperial Regalia of Japan include three items, a mirror, a sword, and a jewel. According to legend, these treasures were brought to earth by Ninigi-no-Mikoto, legendary ancestor of the Japanese imperial line, when his grandmother, the sun goddess Amaterasu, sent him to pacify Japan. These treasures were eventually said to be passed down to Emperor Jimmu, who was the first Emperor of Japan and was also Ninigi’s great-grandson. Traditionally, they were a symbol of the emperor’s divinity as a descendant of Amaterasu, confirming his legitimacy as paramount ruler of Japan. The three items symbollize valor, wisdom, and benevolence. Interestingly,Amaterasu is also sometimes thought to be related to snakes. a legend circulating among the Ise Priests that essentially described an encounter of Amaterasu sleeping with the Saio(a Japanese princess sent to a shrine dedicated to Amaterasu to serve as a priestess) every night in the form of a snake or lizard, evidenced by fallen scales in the priestess’ bed. Amaterasu is also sometimes associated with a dragon. I think Japan may in fact have a strong connection to the religion of the sun since the name of the country in Japanese is 日本(nihon),which contains the Japanese word for the sun ni, although this word can also mean “a day”. Even the Japanese flag features a symbol of the sun. Thinking back to the Shinto religion and the significance of Amaterasu and the story in Japanese mythology that Amaterasu is the being that all Japanese emperors can be traced back to, you have to wonder where this is going.
I especially noticed that the snake/dragon association with Amaterasu is very similar to figures in Mesopotamia and South America. But Japan is an island in East Asia that is isolated from the rest of the world. It didn’t have a lot of interaction with other countries except for perhaps China and Korea. Amaterasu is said to have sent Ninigi to pacify Japan, and the establishment of the Imperial rule in Japan could also signify the creation of an ordered society. The question is how did they get this idea and who exactly is Amaterasu? And why is she associated with the sun, the snake and the dragon?
Thank you Emily, very interesting… Something that I’ve learned about later influences, was that during Tang dynasty, Xian was a center of Esoteric Buddhism in China, with 3 Tantric teachers from India travelling there to share their tradition.
Their school seemed to be a mixture of Vedic and Tantric knowledge from India and Tibet, developed by Hindu and Buddhist schools, plus Chinese Daoist influences.
And then the teacher from Japan named Kukai took those teachings to Japan and established Shingon Buddhist school. They preserved some very ancient practices, such as Goma Fire Ritual (similar to Vedic rituals) with the deity Fudo Myoo (similar to Rudra/Shiva). It appears to be quite different from many schools of “godless” Buddhism today… A lot of symbolism travelled to Japan from that source and got mixed with its native tradition.
I’m learning Japanese and I’m planning on traveling to Japan some day to learn more about Shintoism. Shintoism is a very interesting belief indeed. It would be interesting to find out its connection to other spiritual beliefs on this planet.
It seems there is a connection between Japan and the religion of the sun. I also not long ago stumbled across what you mentioned – that the Japanese emperor is considered a direct descendant of the sun goddess, being a “son of the sun.” This is the same concept found in ancient Egypt, and among the Inca of South America etc.
I also find it very interesting that the Japanese flag and the name of their country has a connection to the sun. There are ancient megalithic sites in Japan that align to the solstices and equinoxes too.
I’d be really interested to hear about what else you find out Emily. Please feel free to comment here or to email me through the contact form on this website.
Very interesting about the royal Japanese bloodline, thanks for sharing Emily! I have also been interested in Japan a little bit, and also find it interesting that their flag has a sun on it. I heard its supposedly a sun during dawn, thats why it is red (the Land of the Rising Sun after all…) And like Lara mentioned, I have also found some sacred sites there, aligned to the solstices and equinoxes. For example here is a nice article I stumbled upon some time ago about a rare site in Japan called Meoto Iwa, which is aligned to the Summer Solstice, and looks really spectacular at dawn: https://www.patheos.com/blogs/pagantama/2016/06/14/shintos-summer-solstice/
But of course, in addition to all this, the whole Asian culture is quite fascinating, and seems so gentle and pure (in its original form), with aeshetics nothing like anywhere else… Would be really interesting to find out where is all this coming from! (I have even heard some funny suggestions that Japanese are descendants of extraterrestrials, thats why they are so futuristic. ;-) ).
Then there are also intriguing stories about the Ainu people of Japan who are said to be the descendants of the Jomon people of Japan, and they are a bit European-looking…
So, looks like definitely a lot to discovere there, especially in relation to the Religion of the Sun.
Wishing you all the best with your research and visit of Japan!
Thank you for your interest in Asian culture Lucia! I didn’t know about Meoto Iwa, but I would not be surprised if there were sacred sites like this in Japan which are aligned to solstices and equinoxes. I have just came to a realization that Japan may in fact be one of the few places on Earth where remanence of the Religion of The Sun exists. Unlike many other ancient cultures, Japan doesn’t have a flood myth and that is likely because for some reason Japan was not affected by the Great Flood that destroyed civilizations at the end of last Ice Age. They were able to preserve their traditions past the global catastrophe and celebrate it even to this day. Unlike many other places in the world where native religions that were likely branches of the Religion of The Sun were exterminated,Shintoism has survived to this very day despite the spread of Buddhism onto the island nation and rapid westernization in contemporary times. Today Shintos still revere their sun goddess Amaterasu, and the Emperor is still believed by some Japanese to be a god incarnate. I also found that the Japanese language does not have any known linguistic connection to any other language, at the same time the origin of Japanese people is still a subject of debate(maybe like you said they are descendants of aliens). It is also possible that they are the descendants of survivors from the last cycle of civilizations, although I have yet found any evidence for that. Japan is a very interesting place to learn about indeed. I have a Japanese friend who has recently been introduced to the Religion of the Sun, and I told her about my theory about Japan’s connection to this ancient lost religion. She became really intrigued and said she will take a look at Lara’s books. She also said she might translate them into Japanese so the people of her country could get some ideas about their own origin. I don’t know if she’s gonna do it or not and I doubt if Lara would let anyone bring her and her husband’s work to Japan. It’s more likely than not just a thought though. She doesn’t work as a translator.
An interesting quote from an article on nippon.com that talks about Amaterasu: “ In ancient Japan, place names conveyed the characteristics of the land. Himuka (日向) represents present-day Miyazaki Prefecture, facing (向かう) the bounty of the sun (日) on its eastern Nichinan Coast by the waters of the Pacific Ocean. From the perspective of the central province of Yamato, it was also viewed as an auspicious location; by an alternate reading, Himuka is where the sun (日) travels (向かう) west from Yamato.”

It seems pretty evident to me that the Japanese have always revered the sun in Shintoism.
Here is her story with her brother Tsukuyomi: “As was the natural order of things, Amaterasu married her brother Tsukuyomi and together they ruled the day and night. The marriage produced children, but Tsukuyomi lacked Amaterasu’s naturally glowing disposition. Whatever goodness he had was merely a reflection of her light. Ultimately, Tsukuyomi revealed his true colors at a banquet when the goddess Uke Mochi created a bounty from which food could be grown. After she spat fish into the sea and game into the forests, she proceeded to pull crops from her rectum. Disgusted by her actions, Tsukuyomi killed her on the spot.
Amaterasu rejected her husband’s disgust and banished him for his evil actions. Thus, day and night became separated for all eternity.”
I don’t know if this has any importance but Tsukuyomi is essentially the kami of the moon in Shintoism. Kami is usually translated either as “god” or “spirit”,and there are many kamis in Shintoism. Tsukuyomi is said to be the opposite of Amaterasu, and two are constantly chasing each other in the sky.
Hi Emily
I thought this might be of interest to you, though it seems contrary to the story known in our present time.
Going by the symbology of the story such as that Amaterasu was born from the father’s right eye and Tsukuyomi being born from his left eye, as well as the story you provide above where the light of Tsukuyomi represents the moon and night and Amaterasu represents the Sun and the day, then it seems to me that Amaterasu was the Son and the Tsukuyomi was the daughter, and something has changed from the original over time. In my research into my own culture I have found meanings and translations to not only be off, but also untrue and at other times changed, so it doesn’t really surprise me to find this muddying up of the clear waters of other cultures either.
Here is a link to an article on Jstor (a publication website that you can create a free account to read the publication online), called the “Origin and Growth of the Worship of Amaterasu” by Matsumae Takeshi which was published in 1978 by Published by: Nanzan University https://www.jstor.org/stable/1177580?seq=1#metadata_info_tab_contents In this research paper it explains how Amaterasu was a male solar deity in the past (see page three of the paper). I hope that this somehow contributes to yours and your friend’s research into the Japanese mythology and its potential connection to the Religion of the Sun.
Hi Juno,
Thank you for providing me with this information. This is a quite interesting but also controversial topic for suggesting that Amaterasu was once a male deity. I’ve talked to my friend about the possibility that Amaterasu was originally a male deity , she has read research papers written by historians in Japan, I cannot read them myself since they are in Japanese but from what she has told me about the papers she’s read apparently mainstream academia agrees that Amaterasu was a female deity to begin with and there is not enough evidence to suggest that she was a male figure at one point in history. However we do understand that the conclusions mainstream scholars can be misleading a lot of the times and it is their tendency to explain things in a nothing-is-out-of-the-ordinary fashion. This theory is worth investigating. To find out more about the legend of Amaterasu may actually require a trip to Japan to ask those who know the story well enough to explain the details regarding Amaterasu in Japanese mythology, especially those who may have inherited the stories orally from their ancestors. Due to the pandemic, however, now it’s not a good time to travel. I’ve been reading an English translation of Nihon Shoki and according the story in there Amaterasu was a female deity to begin with. Since Nihon Shoki is one of Japan’s earliest written record of its mythology it is hard to find out how were the stories told before they had been written down. It’s likely that before Nihon Shoki and Kojiki were compiled that the genders of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi were swapped while the stories were being passed down from one generation to another orally. This is why I think traveling to Japan will help with my research. For now though, I will be reading ancient Japanese texts, starting with Nihon Shoki, and see what I can find.
Hi Emily,
I’d love for people in Japan to find out about the religion of the sun. Let me know if your friend would like to translate the books. I’m doing a major update to my book The Ancient Religion of the Sun at the moment, so if she would like to translate that, best she translate the updated version, which should be available in a month or so.
It is also interesting to note that the Ise Grand Jingu of Japan, the Shinto shrine dedicated to Amaterasu, is being rebuilt every 20 years due to a Shinto belief having to do with the death and renewal of nature. Living in harmony with nature is one of the core Shinto beliefs. This is also one of the key concepts in many other ancient traditions that have long been lost.
Just learned about the Vernal Equinox Day , which is a public holiday in Japan. Before WWII it was known as Shunki Koresai, a Shinto holiday to honor past emperors of Japan. After WWII the new constitution required separation of church and state, this holiday since turned into a public holiday where people honor their ancestors, do cherry blossom viewings, clean their homes for the start of a new season.
I really want to know where these Wisdom bringers possibly came from. If we can understand more about their origin, then we can maybe also understand how they acquired their knowledge and which practices and values they upheld. Knowing this, may bring us closer to deciphering the way of building a balanced civilisation starting from within, working towards being more moral and doing the practices of the Religion of the Sun.
It is obvious the wisdom bringers had vast amounts of knowledge and by applying it, they could shape entire civilisations, in a period of rebuilding after the global catastrophes. The question is: where and how did they acquire that vast amount of knowledge?
Among other places, one very plausible location is Hyperborea, ‘the land beyond the wind’, a paradisiacal land beyond the North Pole, where the phenomenon of Aurora Borealis is closely related to. In the book ‘Naturalis Historiae’ the ancient greek, C. Plinii Secundi (Pliny the Elder), describes the location ‘beyond the north pole’, as a land with forests, mild climate and a ‘large shimmering city’, where disease, war and strive were unknown and the people lived very long lives. If what we know from common accepted geography, the North Pole is the utmost point north, then what can be beyond the North Pole? How could we imagine ‘beyond the north pole’? What is beyond the axis mundi?
In 330 B.C., a Greek explorer and navigator from the Greek colony of Phocea wrote in his diary: ‘I am so eager to turn the prow of my ship toward the north! From there I must go to the throne of the Sun. I want to go to Hyperborea where I am at the top of the world and I understand the beauty of the highest numbers.’ Here he talks about the throne of the Sun. Is this were the Wisdom bringers came from to bring us a glimpse of what the throne of the Sun is about? Is the ‘Throne of the Sun’ related to the religion of the Sun?
In Celtic Mythology mention is made of ‘demi-gods’ called ‘Tuatha De Danann’ which are featured in the book ‘Mythological Swords’ by Rocky Pendergrass, where the writer mentiones ‘Tuatha De Danann’ to live in the ‘northern islands of the world, where they were instructed in the magic arts’. There they mention four islands: Murias, Falias, Gorias and Findias. Which islands are these and where exactly are these? Again this is a mention of the north and peoples possessing great knowledge and wisdom.
In his book the ‘Ancient Wisdom’ by Geoffrey Ashe, mention is made of the land in the North: ‘In the far North there is a paradisiacal place, peopled by an assembly of beings of superhuman longevity and wisdom…This is the place were earth rises to join the celestial centre, the pole of heaven’. This could be seen as the axis mundi, the ‘connection between different dimensions’, a tree of life, of which many cultures write like the Hindu, Norse, Indian, Egyptian, Aztec and Slavic cultures. Also this connection is interesting if we are looking at Hyperborea.
In his book ‘Paradise Found’, William D. Warren, very interestingly writes: ‘Whoever seeks as a probable location for paradise the heavenliest spot on earth, with respect to light and darkness, and with respect to celestial scenery, must be content to seek it at the Arctic Pole. Here is the true city of the Sun’. Just like the throne of the Sun, here we read about a ‘true city of the Sun’.
If we look at Odin and Thor as wisdom bringers, there is a fantastic reference of a sailing voyage in the mid 18 hundreds, based on real accounts, that was made by Olaf Jansen and his father, right towards the heart of the place ‘beyond the north pole’. This voyage is described in the book ‘The Smoky God’, by Willis George Emerson, where he quotes Olaf Jansen: ‘My father was an ardent believer in Odin and Thor, and had frequently told me they were gods who came from far beyond the ‘North Wind’.
When combining all these sources, there are strong correlations to a land beyond the North Pole, where wise beings live, that with great knowledge are living in the true city of the Sun.
As I have never been to the North Pole and I keep questioning my educational programming I have received, I remain open to know if we have been denied information of a different geometry of the Northern Polar region, than popularly accepted. It is very intriguing to investigate further and to know what others on this blog think of this. It is also intriguing to see if more connections can be made to the question if the wisdom bringers maybe came from Hyperborea or other places and to know if these places still exist.
Nicely pulled together Bogdan. And thanks for raising that intriguing question.
From these Sakro Sawel videos and looking into the different sources it becomes clearer that, even though these figures also portray the sacred sun and its story symbolically, that they were real ‘flesh and blood’ men. In many accounts they are with a people for a certain time (sometimes greatly defying normal ageing), only to leave in often magical ways perhaps going to other areas to bring their message. But what about after that? or before? These beings in my view are very advanced and must in a more eternal permanent sense reside in a higher dimension of reality. But what about preserving their physical bodies?
So it’s interesting to hear all those references to this mythical land Hyperborea. Another one, or perhaps merely another name for it, that I recently came across is the Tula/Tule/Thule of the South Americans. But on that the author D. G Brinton mentions that it is not any physically geographically locatable land or city.
It is worth while to examine the whereabouts and character of this marvelous city of Tollan somewhat closely, for it is a place that we hear of in the oldest myths and legends of many and different races. Not only the Aztecs, but the Mayas of Yucatan and the Kiches and Cakchiquels of Guatemala bewailed, in woful songs, the loss to them of that beautiful land, and counted its destruction as a common starting point in their annals
……
Where, then, was this marvelous land and wondrous city? Where could it be but where the Light-God is on his throne, where the life-giving sun is ever present, where are the mansions of the day, and where all nature rejoices in the splendor of its rays.
……
Where Quetzalcoatl finally retired, and whence he was expected back, was still a Tollan–Tollan Tlapallan–and Montezuma, when he heard of the arrival of the Spaniards, exclaimed, “It is Quetzalcoatl, returned from Tula.”
To combine what this author considers a ‘mythical’ land or heavenly realm with the point of view that it is a real place, albeit located in a non-physical dimension, would be venturing into the supernatural. However for people who are familiar with the reality of out-of-body experiences in the astral dimension this is not so far-fetched at all.
Although I think our Earth’s crust is full of mysteries still, I personally don’t think that by physically sailing high up north one will find this land. But it does seem to me when hearing the many historical accounts throughout the world on a ‘paradise’ land as well as considering what spiritual practitioners have related about a superior plane of nature, a ‘fourth dimension’, that this could very well be the place where a supernatural wisdom bringer, like Quetzalcoatl, could reside.
Very intriguing topic! and something that would be amazing to get ones own personal experiences of.
Thank you Karim for your reference to the land of Thule/Tula, by D.G. Brinton. It is very interesting material and intriguing info on Quetzalcoatl. It is very likely indeed that the Wisdom Bringers would not be confined to just one place or time-period, but could move through dimensions, times and places. What I still find intriguing though: if I could learn about a place that we can still explore now (for example the North or South Pole) and if these places could have more that just ice and barren land, indicated by some intriguing facts, maybe then we can get closer to these Wisdom Bringers and their knowledge, attitude and intentions.
For me this question, “where did these Wisdom Bringers come from?” still intrigues me, because there is more evidence that the (physical) world we live in, may contain more (physical and other-dimensional) treasures, which can change our view on this world and increase our knowledge of it and by it open new (astral) places to visit and learn about ourselves and our rich history.
Ella, thank you for your reference to Lara’s work on a possible origin of the Wisom Bringers, being Atlantis. Thank you also for the references to the Secret Doctrine, by Blavatsky. What I really found interesting is the quote that ‘the polestar has its watchful eye on it’. I can assume that what is meant here is the Northstar, which is closely aligned to the axis of rotaion above the ‘north pole’ and never seems to move and has its eye on the ‘Sacred Land’…all the stars move around it. Does this maybe has some spiritual, esoteric significance?
I fully agree with everybody that it must be so incredible interesting if we could visit this ‘Paradisiacal place’ in the Astral plane…and if I speak for myself…if it exists, what would be it’s entry requirements?
I agree with you Karim, Martin and Michael that is highly unlikely that this place is actually a physical place and that such ‘deties’ like Quetzalcoatl, Odin and many others could have come from spiritual dimensions and incarnated in times when the world absolutely needed guidance and knowledge on how to build up a society and most preferably one that was based on the ‘Religion of the Sun’.
Aditionally, I also want to share with you something that I think is very valuable in deciphering what spiritual significance the north pole might have and maybe could be considered as a Spiritual and Physical place as well, maybe one of many temporary places of Wisdom bringers and havens of light, knowledge and true spirituality. Definately a place to try to project to by visualizing the place or using the technique described by Jenny Belikov in her piece on ‘An Out-of-Body Experience Practice from the Gospel of Peace’. Maybe it could be useful to try to project to the North Star and see if it has any connection to the North Pole and maybe to the ‘Paradisiacal Land of the North’.
Thank you Lucia for making a reference to Admiral Richard E. Byrd. I think it can be very interesting and maybe a bit mind boggling to look into the diary and the interview of Admiral Richard E. Byrd. This guy could have been the most pivotal explorer of the last centruy, of whom few people know about, just because of who he was and what he had done. Just like Nikola Tesla, Admiral Richard E. Byrd left a tremendous footprint, but tragically the establishment are trying to deter people’s attention from this footprint. Admiral Richard E. Byrd became the youngest American Naval Admiral in US history by a special act of the US congress and he was a recipient of the highest honour of valor, the US Medal of Honor. He lead expeditions to the north Pole and several to the South Pole. Later a few remarkale texts were uncovered, which paint a new pictures of both poles. The following is a flight log of a flight on February 19th, 1947 to the North Pole. A few remarkable excerpts taken from his flight log and personal diary that was later published (The Secret Lost Diary of Admiral Richard E. Byrd and The Phantom of the Poles Paperback – November 22, 2012):
‘0910 Hours- Both Magnetic and Gyro compasses beginning to gyrate and wobble, we are unable to hold our heading by instrumentation. Take bearing with Sun compass, yet all seems well. The controls are seemingly slow to respond and have sluggish quality, but there is no indication of Icing!’
‘1000 Hours- We are crossing over the small mountain range and still proceeding northward as best as can be ascertained. Beyond the mountain range is what appears to be a valley with a small river or stream running through the center portion. There should be no green valley below! Something is definitely wrong and abnormal here! We should be over Ice and Snow! To the portside are great forests growing on the mountain slopes. Our navigation Instruments are still spinning, the gyroscope is oscillating back and forth!’
‘1005 Hours- I alter altitude to 1400 feet and execute a sharp left turn to better examine the valley below. It is green with either moss or a type of tight knit grass. The Light here seems different. I cannot see the Sun anymore. We make another left turn and we spot what seems to be a large animal of some kind below us. It appears to be an elephant! NO!!! It looks more like a mammoth! This is incredible! Yet, there it is! Decrease altitude to 1000 feet and take binoculars to better examine the animal. It is confirmed – it is definitely a mammoth-like animal! Report this to base camp.’
Here he says he cannot see the Sun anymore. I am wondering what that might mean.
‘1130 Hours- Countryside below is more level and normal (if I may use that word). Ahead we spot what seems to be a city!!!! This is impossible! Aircraft seems light and oddly buoyant. The controls refuse to respond!! My GOD!!! Off our port and star board wings are a strange type of aircraft. They are closing rapidly alongside! They are disc-shaped and have a radiant quality to them. They are close enough now to see the markings on them. It is a type of Swastika!!! This is fantastic. Where are we! What has happened. I tug at the controls again. They will not respond!!!! We are caught in an invisible vice grip of some type!’
After this he meets a very advanced people, just like Lucia mentioned and he is actually confronted by them with the facts of our devolved and corrupt society. One of the most remarkable last words spoken by one of the advanced people is:
‘We see at a great distance a new world stirring from the ruins of your race, seeking its lost and legendary treasures, and they will be here, my son, safe in our keeping. When that time arrives, we shall come forward again to help revive your culture and your race.’
So here he hears, after the coming cataclysms, as beautifully presented by Lara in here video on the ‘Ancient Prophecies of the End of Civilisation’, these people will come forward and
– ‘help revive your culture and your race’
Does this mean these advanced people could have produced at least one wisdom bringer? Do they practice the religion of the Sun? Does that place where Admiral Richard E. Byrd went exist?
I have many questions, but I hope we can find some answers in the Astral Plane. It would be great to hear any experiences if anybody has visited these places.
As a little post scriptum here is an interview with Admiral Richard E. Byrd on his trip to the South Pole which baffled me as he describes the geography of Antarctica in ways that is not taught nowadays in school. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czW0iRJuH1A
Thanks Bogdan,
That interview with Admiral Byrd is fantastic.
This sounds as though it’s worth an astral trip.
Thanks Bogdan for sharing those details about Admiral Richard E Byrd and his flight log. It’s very informative and raises a lot of interesting questions.
Thanks for highlighting that Bogdan, it’s interesting.
I’ve heard many stories about a place in the North Pole that’s like a paradise; but there’s so many floating around it’s hard to keep track of their origin.
You’ve brought up some interesting reflections there Bogdan-Constantin and Karim. I agree that it’s possible those accounts refer to a place that is accessible in the astral dimension, but not in the physical world.
Hi Michael. To me these accounts seem not to allude to the astral dimension. But rather some appear to refer to a paradise place that is ‘closer’ to the physical dimension, but more ethereal, like a fourth dimension nature paradise that I’ve read writers write about.
Hmm, that’s interesting Karim. Thanks for sharing that.
To me it makes sense that ‘the North’, or ‘beyond the North’ is most commonly put as the location of ‘paradise’. North is the direction of ‘going up’. I’ve heard that energetically the earth itself at its most northern point is akin to the lightest point, the peak of the mountain in a way, the closest part to ‘heaven’. Saying this, Lara does mention in the video that it’s likely that Atlantis was likely the homeland of the Wisdom Bringers that reseeded civilization after the deluge that sunk their island and wiped out so many people. But as this catastrophe is not an isolated event but something that occurs over and over as part of a divine plan and pattern, may it be that the recent homeland of the Wisdom Bringers of this cycle was Atlantis, but that there exists a place in the North that is connected with a higher plane and a higher people, a paradise even?
Helena Blavatsky writes that the ‘First Continent’ (of seven continents or root-races/ages of man) exists at the North Pole and is an other-worldly place. Perhaps some explorers actually perceived it with extra-sensory perception, but then concluded mistakenly that they could reach it with the correct equipment and physical perseverance, whereas the message of the Wisdom Bringers was essentially pointing people to building the needed internal ‘equipment’ and to cultivate spiritual discipline. It’s interesting that Hitler is said to have been obsessed with finding the ‘entrance to the hollow earth’ via the south pole.
This is from The Secret Doctrine (Blavatsky) about Shamala/the heavenly worlds in the North Pole.
This ‘Sacred Land’ . . . is stated never to have shared the fate of the other continents; because it is the only one whose destiny it is to last from the beginning to the end of the Manvantara throughout each Round. It is the cradle of the first man and the dwelling of the last divine mortal, chosen as a Shishta for the future seed of humanity. Of this mysterious and sacred land very little can be said, except, perhaps, according to a poetical expression in one of the Commentaries, that the ‘polestar has its watchful eye upon it, from the dawn to the close of the twilight of “a day” of the GREAT BREATH’ [In India called ‘The Day of Brahma.’].
While researching this I read that symbolically the six months of day and six months of light of the extreme north makes it the day and night of one year, which I thought was an interesting. The Arora Boliaris certainly seems like a paradisical display too!
I like Karim’s mention of using OBE’s to explore this – I think that is the only way we would find these mythical places.
Regards how to use this understanding of the Wisdom Bringers to cultivate our own spiritual practice – I’m personally drawn to the four Vedas and their ‘limbs’, (in particular Jyotish/Vedic astrology, the ‘eye of the Vedas’) as these seem to be some of the most tangible remains of the teachings brought to man by the Wisdom Bringers, i.e., the Seven Rishis in Indian myth. But mostly, I’m working on building that relationship with the internal sun and the sacred sun through meditation practices with lots of star-gazing and fires (hey, it’s summer here in the northern hemisphere!)
Thanks for sharing that Ella,
It’s inspiring me to sit down and read the Vedas; it could take a long time to meditate on them. That’s interesting what Helen Blavatskywrote about the Sacred land.
Hi Ella,
I find that quote you added from Blavatsky very nice and insightful. It certainly seems to me to be speaking of the same place.
What you mentioned in your first two paragraphs is also very interesting (like on the ‘North’, and the place of setting forth after ice age etc.), especially because a few days ago I saw a little documentary which passed on information from a supposed family oral tradition. (I actually came across it thanks to Sakro Sawel’s youtube channel where a youtube user had mentioned it.)
Some of the things told sort of opened my mind to something fresh and new, conveying or carrying something of a truth in it of what was in the past. However looking more into it some of the things those modern people were telling and actually practising was unfortunately dodgy and no good.
I haven’t explored it enough, by checking other sources for example, to know whether that ancient history mentioned has a validity to it (or whether bits of truth were taken from somewhere else and added by them to a bigger untrue picture for example) Therefore I wouldn’t recommend it yet either. Maybe Lara has looked into it further and was able to discern things much better and take the true parts of it and put in a bigger context with other pieces of the puzzle.
Thank you very much Bogdan for compiling all these interesting references to the mysterious lands beyond the North Pole. I have also read the account of Olaf Jansen and his son some years ago, and like you, found it incredibly inspiring! In my enthusiasm over the mythical land of North Pole, I have also come across the diary of an American naval admiral Richard E. Byrd, whose experience seems to be very similar to O. Jansen story, with a difference that he didn’t get there via ship, but via plane, and was also welcomed by an advanced race of people.
I also liked what you mentioned about this place being possibly a connection between different dimensions, as it is really hard to say from the accounts if the place is actually physically located on Earth, or if there is maybe some sort of portal there that allows an entrance to these regions.
In any case, like others suggested here, I also don’t think that the wisdom bringers like Odin need to necessarily come from the places like this, because as awakened beings, they may be freely moving in different realms and dwell wherever they need at any time. Still, I find the mythical land in North Pole very inspiring, and think that with so many written accounts, there just has to be something on it, whatever that is… As the famous Slovak saying goes, “no leaf moves without a wind”. ;-)
That’s a nice saying Lucia :) It’s a simple summary of the law of cause and effect.
I’ve only started looking into this but has anyone heard of The way of Viracocha’? I personally hadn’t heard of it before, though it seems pretty well known. It adds some intriguing evidence to the presence and impact of the wisdom bringer Viracocha and his work along the west coast of South America.
The way of Viracocha, or La ruta de Wiracocha, is the geographical alignment of significant megalithic monuments and cities (such as Tiwanaku, Cusco and Ollantaytambo) across the Andes along a path that Viracocha is said to have gone along establishing those places. The 1000 mile alignment points 45 degrees west of true north.
I believe the person who’s done the main work of its modern discovery is called Dr. Maria Sholten D’Ebneth in her book La Ruta de Wiracocha. But that books seems difficult to acquire.
Dave Truman, building on that book and a number of other sources, also has an article written on this alignment and some related subjects. This can be found online on Graham Hancock’s website.
I first found mention of this ‘road’ in a MegalithomaniaUK presentation by Brien Forester on the apparent prevalence of elongated skulls along this same route.
Here’s (https://youtu.be/Wbd3cQQMlMM?t=9m13s) a video that talks about it (it’s in Spanish, though some imperfect auto-generated subtitles help a little in understanding what is said.) Where it also mentions that a side route was also intentionally aligned with the December summer solstice sunrise.
I find it cool to more clearly see the reality (from my limited view) of the traces of these divine wisdom bringers.
Very interesting – thanks for posting that info Karim. It keeps filling out the information about these incredible wisdom bringers, which is really important to do, as through it so much about our past and the religion of the sun can be brought to light.
Never heard of that route Karim, it sounds very interesting, and it reminds me a bit of the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage along the north of Spain that has been one of the most important pilgrim routes for Christian since medieval times, but with much older origins. It’s not so much linking sacred sites (or perhaps this element of it is less known and the sites now lost) but the myth surrounding it makes it appear to have possible links to the story of the Wisdom Bringers.
The final destination of the route is now the cathedral at Santiago de Compostela, said to be where the apostle James is thought to be buried. Compostela means ‘field of stars’. Before Christianity the destination was Finisterre, a few days walk further where the land meets the sea – the ‘end of the world’ and the most westerly point where the sun sets into the ocean and with it the connotation of death. It seems that the whole region of Galicia was sacred to Neolithic megalithic builders and contains a large number of stone circles, standing stones, cromlechs and dolmens, petroglyphs with symbols of the religion of the sun and the ‘Celtic Olympus’, Monte Pindo. It’s also nicknamed the ‘seventh Celtic Nation’ (Ireland, Scotland, Cornwall, Wales, the Isle of Man, and Brittany being the official six).
One of the main myths around the pilgrimage is that survivors of Atlantis landed at Finisterre and walked the path of the Milky Way, settling in what’s now the Basque country in the Pyrenees. Curiously the Basque people speak a unique language unrelated to any Indo-European languages and also have the biggest concentration of the Rh-Negative blood type.
It’s so interesting to start to see the remnants of these amazing people, or this incredible chapter of history, alive in myth today (and even more so, alive in the sense of still teaching people internally). It seems that many people are still very drawn to these places of power, albeit unconscious of why.
I’d heard this story a while ago but only now saw its possible link to the Wisdom Bringers, or the survivors of a past era.
Thanks for sharing those pieces of information Karim and Ella. It’s very interesting to find out more about the rich history of the Religion of the Sun throughout the world.
Hey Karim,
Excellent find on the way of Viracocha. I researched the topic a bit as well and found this article (sorry its in Spanish: https://lahora.com.ec/noticia/1101217428/home) from a researcher that mentioned that the route is in fact part of a greater four directional cross spanning from Bolivia into Peru and even Ecuador with an offset route.
The very interesting thing is that the middle of this cross is Tiahuanaco, from where everything seems to start. This fits of course the importance of this place connected to Viracocha. If you go into Bolivia you find a place like Cochabamba. Maybe a tribute to Viracocha?
Carlos Milla Villena and his son Zadir Milla Euribe also contributed to the work of María Sholten and the expansion of the work into this cross. These researchers also theorize that this cross of Viracocha connects both the Inca as the Aztec empires, but no mention on how specifically. You can find an example of the cross in the following links: http://www.universonuevaera.com/images/banners/recreacion/ruta_de_wiracocha.html and https://www.google.com.ec/amp/s/blog.peruatravel.com/2016/06/24/la-ruta-de-wiracocha/amp/?source=images
It would be very interesting to see similarities and maybe hidden messages between all sites within this cross while visting more closely ;)
Really liking the thumbnail image updates on Youtube. Should do well to bring in more people who’ll surely become intrigued by the content!
In fact I’ve noticed that, though being well received by people (which is great), at the same time they do definitely spark off things and challenge views as well :- ). I find I’m also challenged by them, but in a good way that compels me to want to find out for myself and not simply believe things. Or sometimes people’s comments confront me with having to flesh out the things I feel to be true on a deeper level and to make them more concrete for myself on an explainable level. Rethinking my views like that also helps reveal what are just beliefs within me that I’ve taken on and also to see what the solid things that I know are.
Of course there’s also a lot of actual historical/archaeological/ancient religious research to learn more about and to catch up on. So little time, so much interesting stuff to potentially look into.
Thanks for the wonderful information. This world is filled with mystery. I have always wondered about these megalyths and pyramids. They must have taken so much effort and time to create. To be honest, I could not understand the purpose of it all until watching your videos. Thank you for explaining this all so clearly.
Thanks Jessie. This has been one of my main aims, to find out the big picture of what happened in the past, and then to present it in a clear and easy to understand way.
I know this is a bit random and specific but I’ve been looking a bit more into information about the ice age periods and sea levels in northern Europe. I believe Graham Hancock uses geological research quite a bit to support his ideas, though I don’t personally know to what extent. I feel I’m not near any sort of level to make any specific connections, but it does seem to me that geological and zoological science could help bring a lot to the table which hasn’t fully been utilised yet in light of more recent viewpoints. To figure out movements of people (i.e. ice melts, new land becomes habitable and specific [carbon dateable] animals move in, with people following suit).
Or to potentially help date ancient sites, even those that have dates that seem ‘too old’ but were perhaps exactly during warm periods between ice ages. Or what places were above and below sea level at what time?
It’s also interesting to see how during icy periods glaciers can completely scrape clean the surface of a land, like in Northern Britain 30.000 years ago, destroying nearly all evidence (even plant and fossil) of what was there before.
I came across some interesting information like what you mention in learning about Goseck circle. For instance, it appears the people who built the circular enclosures across Europe started in Turkey, journeying westward. This would have been during a time where it was pretty recently a habitable region. Then a few hundred years later, the circles were abandoned, most likely due to climate and lack of pasture land. There are also some interesting new uses of DNA tests, that allow tracking populations with similar traits across countries and continents. The Paracas skulls are an example of this, where it’s been found (recently) that their DNA indicates some European ancestry. A wider view of movement patterns would be really cool to see!
Thank you so much Lara and everyone involved for making this great video about these mysterious men who deserve to be known today for what they were. When I first read about them and their mission in Mark and Lara’s work, I felt so awestruck and amazed that in our dark age this brilliant and so profoundly revealing information has been shared – an information that literally has a power to kindle the light of understanding in people and lift the veil of darkness and falsity that has been affecting us for so long.
Now after watching this video and thinking about it further, it looks like it brings some new opportunities too. As you mentioned in the video, many of these great men are still around in higher dimensions, continuing to help humanity. This really sparked a new enthusiasm within me to try and see if it would be possible to perhaps see them in the astral plane or clear dreams and learn something… From some comments on your other videos, it looks like some people may have already been guided by these men via dreams to find this information in the first place. I find this incredible and amazing, and hope that we can all do our best to be worthy of their help.
I also find it interesting what you mentioned about the significance of the Caucasus region, as a possible centre of the ancient Slavic spirituality. I came across some myths from this region (Nart sagas) as a child, and they really touched me for some reason. Their traditional noble dances also remind me of some Russian round dances that have connections to the spirituality of the Sun.
Thank you Lara for all your amazing efforts to produce such wonderful videos that have so much meaning and understanding about these anctient wisdom bringers and the sacrifice they would have gone through. also to be able to see the connection more clearly on how how it all relates to the Sacred Sun and the Solstices and Equinoxes..so Thank you once again for putting this all together .
This makes a lot of sense than what the common history tells us about our past. There were so many questions about the Neandertals and the time around it so its great to have those answered. I guess because of the science’ lack of esoteric knowledge the whole humanity’s perception of reality is thus shaped by their subjective theories.
Thank you, Lara and everyone who contributed to this video and the message that it contains.
Yes, I agree Tina. The knowledge that Mark and Lara have passed on makes so much more sense than can be obtained from conventional science. It is a pity that this truly inspiring collective history of humanity has been lost in the mainstream to the subjective theories, which you mentioned. Without the spiritual and esoteric perspective, the mind can create all sorts of theories that have little to do with reality.
Amen Sister………Tell it.
Thank you Lara and team. It’s so incredible to contemplate the immense sacrifice these ancient wisdom bringers went through to spread the religion of the sun. An incredible responsibility and it is little surprise to me that in many cases these wisdom bringers were seen as gods rather than mere men (especially when you consider the powers that they had!). What an incredible time it must have been to be there at the start of a new civilization with the sun known as the highest symbol of divinity. And the immense work those ancient sages had to do to bring this all to fruition… awe inspiring.
This videos and those past are so amazing and professional. I feel an immense inspiration and awe toward the religion of the sun after watching. Thank you for this!
A very moving and beautiful account about the wisdom bringers, your account was so well put together and was such a wonderful inspiration.
I have been wondering about the ‘bucket’ item that the wisdom bringers are shown to carry in carvings of them around the world, if perhaps represented them as carrying the seeds of new civilizations / seeds of the religion of the sun?
I was also really happy to see the Sumerian’s as one of cultures who were part of the wisdom bringers. I find it really hard to understand the interpretations of some of the tablets of the Sumerians, and personally I feel that ambiguity might stem from translations of those texts, as fragments remain, which could effect the meaning of some stories.
I also wanted to mention that the Armenian name for Gobekli Tepe is Portasar meaning Navel Mountain, where they believe the origins of civilization emerged, as that region was once part of Armenia, and the people of Armenia considered themselves the Children of the Sun ( I had first saw this noted on the wiki page of Armenians but somehow it has disappeared since the last time I looked at it about 3-6 months ago) . Here is a link that shows some of the symbols used by the Armenians, https://narinnamkn.wordpress.com/2012/11/29/armenian-wheel-of-eternity-six-pointed-star-svastika/
I also came across this article, https://phys.org/news/2017-04-ancient-stone-pillars-clues-comet.html which reports on findings of researchers with the University of Edinburough who have found evidence of a comet striking the earth and setting of a cataclysm at the onset of the Younger Dryas on a carving on a stone pillar of the Gobekli Tepe temple, which is known as the Vulture stone.
I find it very interesting how the ancients recorded time by depicting celestial time snapshots in their design, and it makes sense to me that it should be recorded symbolically too since, as per the information on this site, they were more deeply connected with solstices and equinoxes and the movements of constellation, and the meaning of these in their spiritual lives. We have not only lost connection to this lost civilization but we have abandoned the language and the spiritual connection in our own lives to understand it. This is just one reason why I love the work presented here as it explains the purpose and unfolds the meaning of these incredible sites around the world, which also brings meaning and purpose into our lives today. Thank you so much to Mark and yourself for all the knowledge that is revived and brought together form lost times I am always i awe when I read this book.
And grateful for the work of Graham Hancock, and also John Anthony West and Robert Bauval who for me are the true archeologists of our times. Shows how when you are open you can be filled.
Thank you Juno – very interesting information about the Armenians. This is what I was hoping people would be able to do – that if an overall framework of the history of the religion of the sun was given, that people would be able to start plugging various pieces into it, to keep building a more and more complete picture – thus also enabling them to understand more about their own history.
Thanks for pointing that out Lara,
I went to a place recently that had a lot of indicators of ancient sun and star worship. When I looked it up on the internet later there was practically no information at all; there’s a gap that needs to be filled.
I can appreciate that Lara and thank you for expressing it. The work that Mark and you have have uncovered inspires me a lot to find out about my own lineage to the Religion of the Sun especially because I try to practice it in my own life today and I find that helps me in trying to understand the fragmented pieces of the past.
I wanted to share this interesting link from an Armenian website on how Armenia was situated in old world maps http://allinnet.info/antiquities/armenia-on-ancient-and-medieval-maps/ . Some of these maps are very interesting and include the Garden of Eden being in this region between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, which is also known as the fertile crescent, and I wonder if the fertile crescent has any symbolism to the Divine Mother? As the crescent can also be a resemblance of the horns, which are shown symbolically on the crowns above Isis, Hathor and Inanna. Also fertility is mostly seen as an attribute of femininity, and perhaps could be synonymous with the mother image too?
There is an interesting quote about the origins of agriculture here towards the end of this page, http://www.accuracyingenesis.com/biblicalflood.html#cbays As Noah is biblically known in Christian bible as the flood survivor, many people have also sought to find Noah’s ‘ark’ in the Ararat mountains. This is what it says about the location of the cradle of agriculture,
“”The cradle of agriculture generally has been placed in the Jordan Valley of the southern Levant (today’s Israel and Jordan). But work by Simcha Lev-Yadun of Israel’s Agricultural Research Organization and colleagues suggest the first farms may have been farther north, between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in what is today northeastern Turkey and northern Syria.
Wild progenitors of the main Neolithic founder crops (einkorn wheat, emmer wheat, barley, lentil, pea, chickpea, bitter vetch, and flax) are found together only in this small core area of the Fertile Crescent.
Lev-Yadun reports that wild chickpea especially is extremely rare, yet it was a staple crop of Neolithic life 10,000 years ago. Agriculture, therefore, probably began in an area where chickpea is native. Archaeological evidence shows that the earliest known farming settlements of the Fertile Crescent were in this core area.
Also, the limited genetic variability of these crops implies that they were domesticated only once — rather than by several different cultures at roughly the same time. Evidence of domesticated crops in the core area dates to about 10,000 years ago, while the earliest signs of farming elsewhere are about 9,300 years ago.
Neolithic sites discovered in the core area indicate that a society with plenty of food thrived there. In sites such as Cayonu, Novali Cori, and Gobekli Tepe, impressive architecture, images, and artifacts have been found. Settlement sites are also larger in this area than many others of the same time in other parts of the Fertile Crescent. …” (From “The Cradle of Agriculture? New Evidence Moves the World’s First Farmers into Turkey” by Reagan Duplisea, http://www.discoveringarchaeology.com/ articles/ 060100-turkeyfarm.shtml) ”
I also thought this map from that earlier link was interesting too, http://allinnet.info/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/The-ancient-%E2%80%9Cmap%E2%80%9D-of-the-Universe-and-Mother-Earth.jpg from 3rd Century BC apparently. It shows the mountainous regions of the Armenian highlands with Pyramid like temples between them and rivers as well. It also shows the underworld depicted somewhat like a labyrinth and shows the heavens above.
This map, http://allinnet.info/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/The-map-on-the-book-%E2%80%9CNoah%E2%80%99s-Ark%E2%80%9D-by-A.-Kirscher-1675.jpg reminded me of the story of creation in the Kolbrin Bible, with the wall around the Garden of Eden.
The maps given in these links above were referenced from this book by Lara Teryan called ‘Ancient Written Sources
Of European Nations About Their Ancestral Homeland – Armenia And Armenians”, https://angelateryan.files.wordpress.com/2017/07/anjela-teryan_angleren-compressed.pdf
Finally here is another link to Maps, some of which are the same as the previous link, but it includes excerpts from 19th Century writers/travellers about the Garden of Eden, including references to the Flood and the Destroyer. One writer questions whether it is the home of the new Adam following the deluge. I recently read that Armenia is also known as the land of the rising and setting sun, and I wondered if it meant that it saw the birth and the ending of ages?
Sorry, I forgot to add the last link, https://www.peopleofar.com/2013/12/02/armenia-the-forgotten-paradise/
Wow Juno, thanks for this information about Armenia! There’s a lot to digest in there (almost as much as the videos being presented here!)
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Juno for sharing all these details about ancient Armenia, the maps and so on… very interesting! I have been drawn for a while to delve deeper into the mysteries of that region, and Armenia has popped up a few times in my search too, for example when I found out about the ancient observatory of Carahunge or Karahunj (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorats_Karer) which some suggest may be the oldest astronomical observatory on Earth. The last link you posted has an image of an old petroglyph from Carahunge, depicting a story that looks like the story of Adam and Eve, which I found very interesting.
On a side note, I have also been wondering if all the wars and unrest that happens in these regions (like Iraq, Iran, Syria, etc) today is for a deeper reason than political, maybe there is a spiritual reason too? Like for example with some more thorough digging, probably more monuments to the spirituality of the Sun would be discovered there? Maybe it is also for this reason that the ancient monuments are being destroyed there, as I can see many of them are of the ancient Assyrian origin (https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2015/09/150901-isis-destruction-looting-ancient-sites-iraq-syria-archaeology/).
Thanks for passing on that research Juno. The evidence of a comet striking the earth is particularly significant.
It’s amazing all these new and inspiring information. I remained with the opened mouth. This video opens a window on what kind of civilization there was before the recorded history. It brings close and connects the myth, the legend with the history into a profound spiritual frame, about the Sacred Sun, when before we didn’t know anything about the very ancient history. So, thank you very much, Mark and Lara, for this unique information. There are no words…
It’s also great and professional the production. Congratulations to everybody that involved on this.
I would like also to add Lara that I liked very much the symbols of the swastika on your uniform. I feel that all these options of swastika have also something magnetic and powerful.
I got so much out of this video, this is very inspiring information, and what brilliant production . Well done to all involved!
Ever since this information began to surface, I’ve had a new spark to push forward through the difficult times of life. It’s also clear to me that this information is the real hope for humanity, and it would be so magical to see the Sun religion flourish once again all over our planet.
Sakro Sawel (Mark), you are doing such a great job at joining all the dots of our ancient spiritual ways, and your guidance is very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Thanks Lara for another phenomenal video on the Wisdom Bringers. I am particularly grateful for the inclusion of the Slavic Svarog into the video. Up until now I did not realize that Svarog could also have been a Wisdom Bringer.
I looked into it a bit more and it turns out that there are sparse details of a wisdom teacher behind the myths (Svarog is said to be the Father god of Slavic mythology), including teaching crafts and cooking. For example cottage cheese, or tvarog (тварог) may well be named after him. He is also associated with the sun and solar symbols.
Looking into the Caucasus mountains where he originates I was surprised to find that this area borders Turkey (the land of Gobelki Tepe). Legends say that he comes from Mt. Elbrus, which may have been called Alatir (Алатырь) in the past. Alatir is a mythical stone from which Svarog is said to have created the Earth. There are many myths related to this stone in pre and post-Christan Russia that seem to have esoteric depth and remind me of the Philosopher’s Stone.
Hi Aleksandr,
I found a study by Roman Zaroff titled: ‘Organized Pagan Cult in Kievan Rus’. The Invention of Foreign Elite or Evolution of Local Tradition?’ to be a fairly good source (for me) to get a better idea about the Slavic Pagan pantheon. There’s also some more points in there about how the sun was a/the central part of their worship, and he also argues how they worshipped the gods and divinity behind the physical earthly representations. He presents his case, it seems to me, by using a lot of the sources that are available on the subject (like historical and linguistical), but because the sources of that time are so sparse different interpretations or pictures can easily be formed on what the core Slavic beliefs were.
Something a bit unrelated but what I found interesting was something of a new concept to me on the way history can be learned about. From Egypt for example there are the structures (beautiful!) and hieroglyphs that remain, as well as texts on stone and papyrus to research and draw from. I don’t think there are ancient Slavic religious texts, also many of their sacred temples would be in nature and or organic material and would not have survived (or have been purposefully destroyed.) However someone mentioned to me that things can still be puzzled back to some degree based on the songs that survived, as well as in understanding the deeper meaning of the rituals that were still carried out during traditional celebrations.
Dear Lara,
This is truly an exquisite documentary. It amalgamates many knowledge-rich topics of previous video’s, articles and books and helps the understanding of the roots and origins of many previous civilisations and the history of our own society. It answers and sheds light directly and indirectly on so many questions I had for years about anomalies in the current accepted history. It is a real delight to see so many puzzle pieces connecting together.
I particularly like the vast similarities of the wisdom bringer story from many places around the globe, making the religion of the sun, something quite extra-ordinary and timeless. If you step back and look at the big picture, coupled with esoteric and spiritual knowledge, you quickly see it not only makes so much sense, it also allows the physical and metaphysical to blend together seamlessly.
My compliments to the whole team for the level of depth of research and the level of professionalism in the editing and production of all the video’s on Sakro Sawel. I’m looking forward to learn more and experience it as well.
If I try to imagine myself in their shoes – civilization has collapsed, there is only ignorance and darkness, they have to find a way bring light to the whole planet, re-establish everything not only spiritually but materially too, crossing oceans with probably not much in the way of material goods or technology, etc. and try to imagine what it would take to hold onto the dedication and carry out this mission in the midst of what must have been constant immense difficulties, veneration and gratitude are the foremost feelings. Comparing to how easy and comfortable our Western lives are and how it has produced a passivity and weakness to look beyond our comfort zone and change even minor problems.
Realizing that many monuments they built still survive to this day and that remaining fragments of the spirituality they brought back can still be pieced together beyond millenia is amazing. Even their memory is still there, albeit mostly in obscure myths and folklore.
It is quite an insult I think how mainstream science regards these magnificent sacred sites as built by ignorant primitives, and the wisdom bringers/sun gods as being a product of their primitive imagination. This refusal and even contempt towards considering the sacredness of these ancient sites and the religion of the sun as something real and important, but instead setting the human intellect and modern technological advancement on the highest pedestal, seems to be one huge trap and problem bringing humanity down.
Thank you so much for putting the effort in this research and producing yet another beautiful and very informative video!
I agree Laura – the task these wisdom-bringers had to accomplish was immense, and I truly can not imagine any “regular” man to do that. No wonder they needed helpers and protectors/warriors, and also their supernatural capabilities to make their mission possible. It would be interesting to know how they actually built those huge and precise sacred sites. I can just imagine faculties like levitation and others being used, but it would be interesting to know more about it.
Yeah, I share those sentiments, Laura. I don’t think I could even imagine being in their shoes. It just sounds impossible. But they did it because of their already vast knowledge and highly advanced spiritual level. From recent readings, I get the sense that many of these wisdom bringers had already achieved the Absolute and chosen the way of knowledge. I guess it shows what is required to advance further at an advanced level. Really awe-inspiring and humbling.
Yes, It is so tragic that with our “modern” archaeological knowledge and science that the sun worshiping societies of the past and the almost supernatural means by which they built their monuments get written off as primitive/ignorant. I don’t know if there is a remedy for that. Most are comfortable believing we have all the answers in this day and age, believing the answers lie in intellectual study that ignores compelling evidence that could be controversial. But like with inner change with many people unwilling to change, I think it will also be the same for the mainstream perspectives of the ancient past. Really a shame.
I’m just thankful we have sites like this where this evidence can be discussed openly (and where we get to see such engaging videos presenting the research). This is super inspiring stuff!
Yes, I agree with the points you made Laura, Lucia and Mike. It’s such a pity that the arrogance of the intellect prevents a deeper understanding of these awe-inspiring monuments and their deeper spiritual significance.
The passivity of the modern world is also a big problem, as you mentioned Laura. As well as the purely intellectual approach, it prevents humanity from truly applying the principles of the sacred sun to our own lives. I’m so grateful that Mark and Lara have uncovered this lost history of humanity and shown that it is possible to follow the same spiritual path. It is a very hard thing to do, but the rewards that can be gained are beyond comprehension.
We can also be so grateful to those wisdom bringers who have passed on this message throughout time. It is a real message of hope among the darkness of the egos and the destruction and misery they cause in the world.
Wow! these videos are getting better and better.
We owe so much to the wisdom bringers. It is amazing what a person can achieve if they are dedicated and have the right standards.
I am also impressed with the immensity of what was achieved by the Wisdom Bringers. What they did thousands of years ago has the potential to inspire the world – if only they were well credited for their achievements.
That’s a good point about having the right standards Christos; it’s so important.
Great video as context and overall production!
Since you first mentioned about the wisdom bringers a lot of mystery and questions came up for me and I was looking forward hoping/wishing to watch this video one day. To be honest there is a lot of information here and need to take it slowly to catch everything and still do. Some points that stood out was one about what you said that Osiris was “using not force but persuasion reason and even song and music” that combination would be wonderful if I could be there and experience it.
And what you said about how they face the sacrifices is also amazing.
Quite sad that this guidance was lost or/and it’s interpretation changed to the totally opposite side where people were sacrificing the most valued items/beings to be favoured by the divine.
Also what you said about their supernatural abilities like controlling the fire and healing people reminds me the recent update of the biography of your husband Mark. But also that wisdom bringers’ immortal life and spiritual journey is still going on today and serve a different/advanced role.
And of course “Establishing a theocracy” also sounds amazing to me. What kind of age was back then! and where we live now…
Thank you for putting all this information together and the great research behind it. It’s something unique in this field and size.
What’s next? :)
Thank you Fotis. I already have plans for the next few videos, but don’t want to give away what they are, so as not to spoil the surprise :-)
I found it simply incredible that legends record both Osiris and Viracocha as having this ability to draw fire out of the air. As the legends reveal, they did not treat it as something to show off or impress with, but only used it in the most dire circumstances – when their lives were threatened. It seems they were incredibly advanced beings, who had probably learnt how to use the abilities they had been given over a long time period, whereas Mark would have to learn how to use the ability he has. So there are levels within levels, and many advanced stages beyond what we can probably imagine, which is why the wisdom bringers were so special in human history.
Ehem, we’d probably still be surprised even if the topic were revealed, so no harm done :D
I’m looking into a few books on mystic beings from the ancient Balkans area in Serbian to see what might’ve survived there through traditions or oral history. I keep seeing Svarog associated with fire, so I’m curious if I’ll find any references to him using it in a similar way as Osiris and Viracocha.
Gosh, that really puts it into perspective Lara, to think that these abilities were already honed by the wisdom bringers – it sounds like humanity was really gifted some incredibly spiritually developed Beings to guide them into a better era. It makes it even more of a sad thing that they have been forgotten, let alone the deeper wisdom that they brought appreciated.
Thanks so much for these videos, they evoke such a deep wonder in the mysteries of life and appreciation for the immense efforts that are put into each person’s awakening here on earth, feelings that spur on my hunger for spiritual development and contact with divine forces and beings. I’m sure it does the same for many others.
Amazing video!
Thanks a lot for publishing!
It’s astonishing to see the immense work the Wisdom Bringers went through to help Humanity.
At the same time, it makes me disheartened to see I still keep committing the same mistakes even when trying hard not to, giving value to the same old things, aspiring to real spirituality but not doing much, probably repeating the same for hundreds or thousands of years – when will I ever learn so I can help rather than be a burden?!
I found this video really inspiring, especially the perspective that some of these same beings are still looking over aspects related to the civilization they helped to shape so long ago.
It’s also interesting to contemplate how a small number of people with divine guidance could have shaped life on the planet for thousands of years to come, and then got practically wiped out of collective memory such that it’s an effort to piece together information about them today :o
Interesting point of view, Jenny.
One can reflect about the powers of Light and Darkness contemplating what you said about that small number of people, their influence, and how humanity changed over the past thousands of years…
Wow, this video is amazing. There is so much information packed into such a short time and it truly is a work of art.
The knowledge of the Wisdom Bringers, both from an esoteric and practical aspect, must have been so critical in shaping the ancient world – what an enormous task they had to spread this knowledge. The information here makes a great deal of sense as to why there is so much universality in religious or spiritual sites across the ancient world. It appears that these great sages clearly understood the importance of the religion of the sun.
It’s a bit sad today that many scientists and anthropologists who study ancient times do not have the esoteric knowledge to understand the meaning of the many symbols, yet people generally seem to believe their many (often simplistic) theories, based on a lack of understanding.
We are so fortunate to receive this information via someone who truly has the esoteric experience and understanding of the importance of the Religion of the Sun, and that it is coming back to life.
Thanks Lara and to everyone involved in creating such a professional and inspirational video.
Thanks Sue.
I have found the general state of mainstream archeology and ancient history to be quite awful. Some of the explanations I have seen on Wikipedia for instance, are ridiculously infantile. But almost worse than this, is the way mainstream ancient history ignores so many pieces of information as to create quite a dystopic and depressing worldview. They not only ignore anything of a spiritual or transcendental nature, but anything even remotely related to it – including the stories of actual living human beings (i.e. their oral histories), so that they are literally just left selectively studying dead bits of matter, from which they seem to have extracted all human life and spirit.
So very well said Lara.
It’s so easy to put down any ancient knowledge as primitive, pagan, etc, when you don’t understand it and are not willing to acknowledge that perhaps the ancients had knowledge, in many areas, that far exceeds ours of today.
Having learned and, at least in a small part, understood, it’s almost comical listening to their explanations … but rather sad for those who are really seeking to learn and to understand what is so very important.
I agree, very well said Lara, ‘left selectively studying dead bits of matter, from which they seem to have extracted all human life and spirit.’
I also find it sad how if you try to bring up ‘alternative’ views of ancient history, the response can often be condescending and even contemptuous or aggressive, which can feel shriveling and crushing, and not only from authorities of these fields but anyone who holds it as the right order of things. I guess we need to become educated enough in this so that where it is appropriate we can offer logical and compelling evidence and opinions in a calm and kind way and be able to discuss these topics consciously.
I was watching a documentary about the time in the early 90’s when John Anthony West and Robert Shoch’s hypothesis on the Sphinx and the water erosion theory came out, which suggests its age to be at least from the end of the last ice age. It was interesting to me how it said that if mainstream scientists are faced with compelling evidence like this that they can’t argue away they will ignore it and hope it will go away. I guess that’s what has happened with the Sphinx – the theory is waterproof but you don’t hear it discussed in the mainstream and it hasn’t altered the commonly accepted history of Egypt.
That’s the impression modern archaeology has made on me, and because I felt drawn to feeling the direct experience of the spiritual (and thanks to Mark’s work I’ve been enabled to tap into that) the way modern archaeology presented history made it seem very empty, and separate to what I was interested in…. I mean why be interested and engage myself intellectually in something like that, some grey pieces of flint, when the real things could be experienced today?
But the information presented here, has helped to change my understanding of this. Because in fact the legacy of ancient spiritual cultures does not belong in the hands of, really, nor should be confined or trapped by modern intellectual archaeology. Rather behind those ancient circles, pyramids, sacred objects, engravings etc. the heart in them and what these solar cultures held as most important was that real spiritual nature. That’s what they were about and in my opinion that’s the real legacy and it is something that perfectly connects to the inner spirituality one can experience personally today. So in a way there’s a work of reclaiming that needs to go on.
I’m definitely still working on bridging that connection between myself and the ancients, feeling them not as something separate to what I do, but rather part of the same thing. There’s a huge potential there though I believe, to have behind you that whole ‘wave’ of Earth’s sacred past and feel it as part of you.
Also I see more how the research and study (which includes the intellectual study part too) of ancient cultures needs to be there in order to make this connection. For people to get to and see the real thing within these ancient cultures and to experience it in practice themselves today.
A lot to take in there Lara, thanks for compiling your research and making it easy to comprehend, it’s greatly appreciated.
I sincerely hope that humanity, all around the world can have the opportunity to share in the benefits of practicing the Religion of the Sun as was passed on by the Wisdom Bringers.
This message of the Ancient Wisdom bringers is very inspirational. You have managed to portray how this ancient message is still with us, talking to us, from across vast epochs, and encourages deep reflection on their task and determination. Thank you for this unique presentation!
