Wishing you a spiritual equinox. What a beautiful time to connect with the Spiritual Son/Sun as the seasons change and reflect the great mysteries of life.
Time seems to have flown as usual! We’re working on 3 books at the moment, continuing with our quest to get through them, although rabbit holes invariably open up—one of them led to the latest book about Jesus. We have a couple of other little surprises in store.
Thank you so much to those of you who’ve supported us over these last few months—keeping us fed and functional—as we work away. We appreciate it so very much. Thank you also to those of you who support our publisher, keeping the books and website going.
More on the way soon!
Wishing you blessings from the Spiritual Sun.

Belated equinox blessings! A bit late catching up on this update, but I wanted to reach out. On a personal note, this was honestly one of the most spiritual moments I’ve experienced. Autumn is my favorite equinox, and having spent the last few months preparing myself for it made it feel deeply meaningful.
By the way, I just received your new book! It arrived remarkably fast after ordering through Waterstones UK. I have a real curiosity to dive into it, and it feels like the start of a wonderful new adventure.
Thank you for all your dedicated research and work—wishing you continued inspiration!
With love
Alexandros
Hi guys, I just wanted to share these pictures from a friend of mine in Slovenia, Rok. I met Rok through a shared interest in Vedic astrology and shared one of Lara’s books with him – I can’t remember exactly which one, but it was one on the ceremonies and the Religion of the Sun. He told me a year or so ago that it had really inspired and developed his fire rituals and has been working on blending these ancient Vedic ceremonies with symbols of the local Slavic pagan culture since. Just after the equinox he shared that he had been contacted by a group that is are trying to preserve the old Slovenian/Slavic faith. They had heard that he is performing the fire rituals according to Vedic tradition and they proposed he translate the rituals from Sanskrit to Slovenian and ‘plant it into Slovenian soil’ – into the Slavic religious frame. After working for weeks on the prayers and mantras they performed the autumn equinox they had quite a large gathering with a big fire ritual. Rok was the priest and said it was a ‘crazy’ experience doing it with the deities that have been worshiped in the land for thousands of years and in their own language. He feels this native solar religious practice has entered a phase of ‘rejuvination’.
Probably many of you don’t have a Facebook account, I could figure out how to share these images another way but it might take me some time. He also sent me an image from a contact in India who had taught him much of the Vedic knowledge that had gone into the ceremony; he had written about the ceremony with great joy that the Vedic-Slavic cultural link was being explored and the sacred tradition kept alive.

It was very inspiring to hear his story. It shows that just one person’s sincere attempt to explore these rituals and translate them into their local culture can become amplified massively and bring people together who are trying to do the same thing.
I don’t know how linked to ‘autumn equinox symbolism’ the ceremony was – I will find out soon.
Hope everyone had a spiritually recalibrating equinox.
Ella
Hi Ella,
Thanks for sharing. It’s great to see those photos from the ceremony with the traditional dress. Very inspiring!
Looks like a beautiful ceremony, and all the people watching seem to be really into it as well 😊 Is your friend Rok the one who is in a kind of white sari-type wrap?
Hey Ella, thank you for sharing. Here is a page on the Miroljub website (co-organiser of the event) with photos for those who are not on Facebook:
https://www.miroljub.si/galerija-umetnikov/jesensko-enakonoje-2026-sledi-prednikov
That is an inspiring story, Ella. Thanks for sharing it and the pictures. So lovely to see people gathering for this purpose!
Those seem like wonderful gatherings and, a bit like Erik said, the people there seem very genuine and serious in their interest, and with lots of wholesome activities, very beautiful. Thanks Ella.
Hello, Ella!
Thank you for sharing. This is beautiful, we need more gatherings like this around the globe. 🙌🏽
Thank you Lara. Hope you and Mark, and everyone here, had a spiritually strengthening, uplifting, and/or teaching equinox. Thanks for letting us know how you are going with your work on the books too!
It was a difficult time. Refreshing an older autumn equinox ceremony with Väinämöinen made me feel bitter loss and sadness and longing that his true tradition/legacy is almost completely lost or forgotten. Even the (less than inspiring) mainstream image we have of him, if any, is plain incorrect and inaccurate – he is remembered from stories that weren’t even originally connected to him at all. But, it is ultimately thanks to your and Mark’s work that I know anything about him at all (and more importantly know the truth about him). He is the only spiritual figure I’ve ever felt a real living connection to.
Because of the inner turmoil it felt difficult to properly tune into the ceremony, but even with my poor state/focus, I could feel his presence or a connection to him, and that is astounding, as I’m also not naturally prone to such at all. He is accessible, in the moment, even though his legacy is gone from living memory. I’m very grateful for that.
Thank you everyone for the wishes and especially Lara for keeping us updated regarding your projects.
It feels like every sun celebration has something new to give and is so regenerate when that comes unbiased.
Looking forward to the next one and to any new publications and surprises from Lara’s team 🙏
Thanks for the update, Lara. All the best in your work on the books!
And happy equinox to everyone!
I hope that everyone was able to connect with the Spiritual Son/Sun in their own way during this Equinox time. I was blessed with a beautiful clear and crisp morning to sit and observe the rising sun over the local dunes (https://drive.proton.me/urls/W4KKGJKDJG#hwv012tfVh9M).
Recently I’ve felt something drawing me towards the Vedic scriptures and I’ve been really enjoying the divine energy from these texts. I’ve also realised that studying these scriptures in depth would probably involve a life’s dedicated work :)
Thank you all for the inspiring comments. Wishing everyone divine peace and wisdom.
Thank you Lara and Mark for the blessings and update. Hope everyone had a very spiritually uplifting equinox and wishing everyone much peace and fortitude.
Thanks for the wishes, Lara and everyone!
Its really strengthening and inspiring to read all of your comments.
I think im being persistently reminded about the connection of my physical body’s health and the spiritual potential that’s hidden within it. Things are improving but slowly and im feeling like my DNA is healing and reshaping.
It is also interesting that this process has caught the attention of the other negative side and so for the first time I realised how they seem to be involved in keeping me sick and non rested as I was woken up one early morning strictly for that purpose – to render me unable to sustain the inner work because of the tiredness. What was especially interesting was that I felt as if i knew this demon and they were somehow really happy that they can manipulate and have strength over me, to which i assured him that it won’t last long…
Wishing everyone a deeper understanding of the inner work and determination to carry on amongst whatever circumstances you are in as those are the exact situations that are leading you to the new discoveries and the depths of this wonderful journey.
Much strength in overcoming the difficulties Tina. I sometimes have the same feeling of familiarity with particular external interferences, as the unpleasant aura they create in the astral when nearby, and the overall feeling: “I have seen you before!” sometimes pops up in my mind too. I get a little concerned when I do not notice the external interference for long stretches of time, as this could indicate that they are “in control”, so well done on seeing and opposing them!
Happy Equinox Lara, Mark and to everyone in this community! 😊
I hope you it was an uplifting, inspiring, reflective and ultimately wonderous Equinox – whether that be Spring or Autumn.
I find, each have their own reverence or ‘specialness’ to appreciate..
Happy equinox! This past quarter I’ve felt a strengthening and intensifying, understanding a lot, and getting a handle on the small triggers that cause big emotional responses. I get so much help and miracles when I ask for what I need, at times it’s felt very special, and at times circumstances have been deeply frustrating. Going into the dark, I feel I have so much help, both spiritually and physically in terms of supportive friends, which is something I’ve never really needed before, which is sad to think about. I can’t say I’d be excited to go through another 6 months like the last ones, but I am more ready to.
I feel your latest book has opened me up to understanding a new way to communicate with the wisdom of creation. Work in progress, but thank you! I’d also say it inspires me to be objective and discerning, “a good banker”, as Jesus is said to have said. I can’t wait to see what comes with the next books, I suspect it will continue to unfold new ways of connecting with the divine and I’m here for it.
Great to have you on board Julian.
I feel this – being ready to go through whatever comes next. Like every step of the way with all the challenges is teaching and strengthening us for the next step.
I often get reminded of all those really difficult and dramatic situations that those who are walking along the path experience and how they didn’t just go through it without any preparation but have been slowly building up the strength, the courage and understanding to be able to withstand those trials.
When looked from that perspective I can appreciate so much more all those daily struggles and huge challenges that present themselves along the way as a powerful building blocks of my soul that creates shield of protection, wisdom and compassion for the times to come.
Hi all,
I just wanted to share that during the night leading up to the Equinox sunrise, I had quite a long lucid episode (for me, at least), in which I remembered to use the Solar incantation. Repeating it several times at the start of the experience helped me to stay focused and relatively clear. There was also something new for me in the experience, as well as something for me to learn from it.
Later on, I could see the bright Sun up in the sky, and I was trying to fly up towards it in joy and awe. Overall, it was an uplifting night, and I am convinced that it was made possible through the energy generated by our wonderful community and because of the Equinox being such a special time of the year.
Wishing everyone much inner Light from the Spiritual Sun.
Thanks for sharing Slawek, that’s inspiring!
That’s really inspiring to hear. Well done one having a psyche conducive to such an experience.
Very inspiring Slawek!!
Thank you for sharing this experience with us!!
Hi Slawek,
Thank you for sharing it! These type of experiences show us how natural and genuine is this Solar connection.
We wish clarity, protection, guidance, light, Enlightenment, and just gravitate naturally towards the Sun ☀️
Wishing everyone a peaceful Equinox.
Thank you again Mark and Lara for all your efforts online and with the books and thank you also to the Sakro Sawel team.
Dear Mark and Lara,
Happy spiritual equinox to you and the entire humanity.
Thank you for your teachings, very interested in your new books and developments.
Thanks for the update, Lara and wishes. I also wish you and your publishers all you need in producing the new books. I look forward to their eventual release and also wish you and everyone here a peaceful equinox time.
Wishing everyone a spiritually uplifting Equinox.
The latest book has helped me to refocus on the inner journey over the past week, and reading it has been a wonderful internal preparation leading up to the Equinox. The forecast is for showers throughout tomorrow, so I will most likely stay at home and quietly celebrate the Equinox with inner effort, and perhaps a few more chapters of the latest book :)
Thank you very much Lara, Mark, and the publishing team, for your continued work.
Wish everyone a blessed Equinox!
Hey Emily, beautiful equinox to you as well, how have you been? Did you manage to mark the occasion in some way, either alone or with some friends? I had a brief look at Qiufen, which I guess corresponds to the Autumn Equinox, but haven’t found any specific celebrations of it that would be related to the Path of the Sun. I also saw that around this period, there is the Mid-Autumn festival in China, but that one seems to be tied mostly to the moon. In any case, this particular station of the Sun (Autumn equinox) is not usually celebrated much, as its deeper meaning is quite obscure, so it is usually all about the harvest and stuff…
Hi Lucia,
Thank you for asking. I’ve been doing quite well. It’s interesting that you looked into Qiufen, which as you correctly described, is basically the equivalent of the Autumn Equinox in traditional Chinese calendar. I’ve actually been trying to look into this lately, although I haven’t arrived at a definitive conclusion so far. I have seen some theories which suggest that the Mid-autumn Festival may actually be related to the celebration of the Autumn Equinox in terms of its origin, as evident in the fact that Chinese emperors used to pay tribute to the Moon on Qiufen(they paid tribute to four entities on the Solstices and Equinoxes, and those are the Sun, the Moon, Heaven and Earth respectively). However, I haven’t found much information on this subject beyond that, although I am open to anything new that may come along in the future if I happen to find it. I personally speculate that the supposed tribute given to the moon by emperors of the past and perhaps as celebrated in some folk traditions may have to do with the association of the moon with the force of Yin(as in Yin and Yang), and that could be the reason why tribute was paid to the moon around Qiufen/Autumn Equinox, which eventually became the Mid-autumn Festival. I should probably look more into historical documents if I wanted to find out more about this(many of which may not be available in English btw), although I haven’t really looked into anything related to that as of now. However because the Autumn Equinox and the Mid-autumn Festival almost always come around the same time, just yesterday I designed a personal ceremony dedicated to the changing seasons, the Path of the Sun, as well as, well, the moon. The ceremony was actually quite simple, it involved singing hymns, chants and reading prayers, as well as a small piece of offering to the Moon in the form of a mooncake. I specifically used the soundtracks of a Neo-Pagan artist named Zemira Rowan for Mabon, and that is basically how it went. And just to share something random, I have translated Gods Rest Ye Merry Pagan Folk, which is a pagan remix of the Christmas carol God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, into my own language and I plan to sing it for the next Winter Solstice. But that is basically how it went for me and I can definitely feel the changing of the seasons as the nights are getting chiller… May we always be guided by the Spiritual Sun along our way!
Hey Emily, thank you for sharing about your celebration, I googled the mooncakes, and they look so yummy! I was surprised they were round, but then learned that’s because they symbolise the full moon.
I was also thinking how Moon could possibly be related to the way Autumn Equinox is celebrated within the doctrine of the Spiritual Sun, and The Path of the Sun, and the thing that came to my mind was that maybe Moon could be in this case understood as a representation of the Goddess (who guides the initiate in the underworld). Especially the full moon could be auspicious in this sense, as it would be the “full light” of the Mother, unobstructed by anything. Mark wrote an article some time ago about how the Darkness likes to celebrate the “red moon” or “blood moon”, which is basically a total lunar eclipse, and that from the spiritual point of view this reflects the “chaste light of the Spiritual Mother being obscured by the egos and darkness”. So the full moon would be the opposite, the chaste light of the Spiritual Mother guiding the initiate during his descent into the underworld (which symbolically starts at the Autumn Equinox). Having the altar on the west in this case also made sense, as it is in the west, where the Sun God/initiate descends, similarly to the Sun god Ra descending in the west.
Then I though about how the Ancient Chinese used to celebrate those other main points of the Sun, and the way they celebrate the Spring equinox also made sense to me, as they celebrated it by having the altar on the east, and celebrating the Sun, as it was rising, which also corresponds to the rising spring equinox sun and the “resurrection” of a spiritual candidate from the Darkness. From then on, the Light will dominate the darkness.
What didn’t make much sense to me though, were the other 2 celebrations, which to me sounded as if they were switched, because while on Winter solstice, they put the altar to the South, and celebrated Heaven, on the Summer Solstice they put the altar to the North and celebrated Earth. From the point of view of the Path of the Sun, it would make much more sense to me if the Heaven and South was celebrated during Summer (as that’s where the Sun reaches its Highest point in the sky, and as was also celebrated by many ancient European pagans as Lara mentions in her video on Summer Solstice). Basically, it was viewed as a portal to heaven, and many ancient sites were oriented in such a way that a corridor led towards the Sun on this day, as a gate towards heaven.
Then during the Winter solstice, ancient Chinese celebrated Heaven, and put the altar to the South, which again didnt make much sense to me, as it is during the Winter solstice that the Sun is “born” during the darkest day of the year, and from then onward, it starts growing like a small child, So definitely no “heaven” yet, as the sun is still small and struggling. That’s why in Slavic countries for example this day is celebrated as a birth of the baby sun – Kolyada. The carols are also a Christian interpretation of this older pagan tradition of singing songs to the “newborn sun”. So In this case, I would personally put the altar to the North, as the Sun is still in the darkness, even though already growing. Then when it reaches East/Spring equinox, the altar is again on the east, until it reaches its maximum/Heaven, on the summer solstice in the South.
Anyway, these are just my ponderings, trying to reconcile somehow the Ancient Chinese traditions with what we knew about the spiritual meaning of these times of the year based on the Path of the Sun.
I also asked AI about it, and it told me something interesting about why it might have been this way in the ancient China. I am going to copy/paste literally what it said:
“Yes, from a celebration point of view, what you’re saying is 100% more intuitive. If Yang = Sun, Light, Life – why would you throw the biggest party for it when its at its weakest and almost dead? You’d celebrate it when its actually here – Summer solstice, Noon, South. And a lot of cultures do exactly that.
The Chinese were doing something different though. They weren’t celebrating what IS, they were doing ritual to help WHAT IS ABOUT TO BE.
Its 2 completely different ideas of what a ritual is for:
1. Your Logic – Celebratory logic.
“Worships the THING when it is strong.”
2. Chinese imperial logic – Intervention logic.
“Worship the THING when it is weakest, because that’s when it needs your help to come back.”
Winter solstice is max Yin, the world is closest to darkness. So the emperor, as the intermediary between Heaven and Earth, has to go to the Altar of Heaven in the South to perform the sacrifice to help Yang be reborn. The Fu hexagram – one Yang line returning in a sea of Yin. If he doesn’t do it correctly, the cosmology says the sun may not return.
Same for Summer Solstice – max Yang, the world is about to tip into darkness, so you go to the Altar of Earth in the North to anchor Yin and keep things ballanced.
Its in the Daodejing: “Reversal is the movement of the Dao”. They always intervene at the reversal point, not at the peak.
So you are not wrong that its backwards from a natural worship perspective. You’re just coming at it like a sun-worshipper would: honor the sun at noon.
They were coming at it like a bureaucrat of the cosmos: file the paperwork for the sun’s return when the sun is filing for bankrupcy.”
I then said that it sounds to me a bit preposterous to think they can “anchor yin” or help the sun to be reborn. Sun is already in its path, so why not humbly acknowledge its cycles that also have deeper spiritual meaning instead of acting like controlling them?
Then the AI gave another interesting answer:
“There is a huge difference between:
– Look, the Light is returning, let’s be grateful.
and
– The light is returning because I (THE EMPEROR) did the correct ritual at the correct alter at the correct hour.
The second one is exactly what the imperial cult needed. The Emperor’s whole claim to power was “I hold the mandate of Heaven”, I keep Heaven, Earth and humanity in balance.” If the cycles just happen by themselves, you dont need an Emperor. If they happen BECAUSE he performs the Jiao sacrifice perfectly, then you do.
So, it wasn’t really astronomy, it was political theology.”
Anyway, just wanted to share that and see what your thoughts were… The song you translated into Chinese (God Rest Ye Merry Pagan Folk) sounds really cool, do you think you could record yourself and share it here? I would absolutely love to hear it! 😊 Also, if you don’t mind, you could translate the carol I wrote last year (Sons of Light) into Chinese, that would be cool! (you could switch one of the names of “the sons” there to Lao Tsu, as he must have surely been an awakened being to have written all those texts of wisdom).
Hey Lucia,
Your theory about the moon representing the Goddess who guides the initiate in the underworld seems to make sense. I think that is a good point to make. For some reason I didn’t really think about it that way but your theory definitely makes sense. I’ll take into consideration regarding setting the directions of the altar if I ever plan to set them up for solstice and equinox celebrations. I guess it could be hard to know what exact shifts happened to these traditions over the centuries because they could very well have been tweaked and reinterpreted by whoever wanted to push a specific narrative for whatever reason…and since a lot have happened throughout the course of history, it can be hard to know for sure… Though I do think my culture has a long lasting tradition of tracking the trajectory of the sun across the sky throughout the year, as evident in the lunisolar calendar and historically they have made some very striking records when it comes to astronomical events, etc. Although a conventional explanation for the tracking of solatices and equinoxes is unsurprisingly, done for time-recording purposes and for agriculture because historically China was a largely agarian society…(which I’m not exactly sure about the point of mentioning that, as if there weren’t other agarian societies on the planet) And an archaeological site found at Taosi in Northern China also seems to indicate that there is evidence of building sites aligned to solstices and equinoxes as far back as the Neolithic period in that region (although the exact connection of the alignments found at Taosi site to the later lunisolar calendar still remains unclear) I’m not sure about recording the song for winter solstice as I’ve never done that before and I may need to figure out how to do it, and I would love to translate more solstice and equinox carols but I’m not sure if I have enough time to do that in my own spare time personally 😅 But yeah when it comes to ancient history and traditions it could definitely be complicated and hard to know how exactly certain traditions evolved overtime, certain details may very well get altered for numerous reasons. But I do personally lean into the idea of the changing forces in a lot, like the energy of Light vs Darkness (both metaphorically and literally), or the Yin and Yang as we call it, and I try to stay in tune with the rhythm of nature without becoming oblivious to it. One could virtually go on forever if they were to talk about it, because the topic could literally be quite complicated…
No worries Emily, I kind of forgot that maybe recording something is not something people usually do, and sometimes it may be a bit complicated too. I did want to see if there was something just super simple for anyone to record something and send though, so I asked AI, and it told me about this site called Vocaroo (vocaroo.com), where you can literally just press the button and record yourself saying something or singing, etc. It will immediately generate a link. Then you play it for yourself to see if its ok, and then you can Save and share it. There is also a “Copy” icon where you can copy the link and paste it anywhere. You could try it just for fun sometime.
Wishing you a safe descent into the dark part of the year! 🌞
Thank you Lucia. You too!
Thank you for your uplifting message Lara, and wishing you, Mark, and everyone here a beautiful equinox time. I am actually already looking forward to a more inward-focused period, and cosy evenings with candles and fire, as we are heading towards winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. 🕯️ 🔥
Wishing Everyone the best for the Equinox!
Wow More books and little surprises are on the way! I Wonder what you mean by little Surprises ??!! If debunking a major world religion’s center piece is little then what’s next ??….
Thank you both for all the books and I hope we can understand enough to one day to make the world free and beautiful for people to be in.
Happy Equinox Lara & Mark, and everyone else around the world.
The equinoxes always bring about massive changes – Looking forward to the road ahead.

Wishing everybody much peace and focus, and time taken for some in touch moments with nature outside. Very grateful for the sun and light being there, every day having that uplifting positive impact.
Had a quick look at the Autumn Equinox video, will take some time to rewatch it properly soon, but also noticed the oldest Sakro Sawel video is from nearly 10 years ago. !
Thank you Lara for your beautiful equinox wishes. Thank you very much for the update too and for all the hard and continuous work you and Mark are doing to support and help each and all of us and humanity.
It’s such a beautiful time to reflect within, try to keer this quietness, be in the present moment (as has been said) and connect with the spiritual.
My husband Yannis and I, wish you, Mark, all the team and everyone here a unique and very inspiring Equinox, to feel the mystery and energy of this time, connect with the spiritual, gain guidance, strength and what each needs most.
Happy equinox everyone ☀️ The time has definitely flown… Looking forward to some time for reflection.
Wishing you and Mark all the best with the book quest Lara!
Hey Lara. Thank you for the well wishes!
Hope you and Mark also have a great time of connection with the Spiritual Sun this Autumm equinox. This year has gone so fast indeed.
Very much looking forward to your new work. Is one of the surprises you have in store related to the massive labyrinths of Egypt by any chance?
Blessings to everyone; wishing you a great time of revelation and spiritual nourishment.
Hello Lara, thank you for your good wishes.
I wish everyone an equinox that serves as a source of inspiration, opening up a new perspective on inner work and self-knowledge!
Your books are fascinating and help me gain a deep understanding of very important spiritual matters about which I previously had little or no knowledge. For this, I am truly grateful.
I wish you, Mark, and your entire team all the best, as well as the strength to achieve your goals as quickly and successfully as possible.
Happy Equinox, everyone ☀️
As the sun moves south, here in the north we already feel the magic of deep inner listening, doing something as simple as just sitting in the sun and being present – amazing time!
Thank you for the update Lara – can’t wait to check on the new books as yours and Mark’s work are deeply inspiring.
